Cyber Essentials Qualification

Following recent evaluation, MysonPages have demonstrated that they are achieving excellence in managing their cyber risks efficiently and effectively, leading to achievement of H M Government’s ‘Cyber Essentials’ certification as operated by the National Cyber Security Centre.

Adoption of this organisational standard for cyber security nationally, means that organisations can have greater confidence in their ability to measure and reduce basic cyber risks. It is for all organisations of all sizes and in all sectors and it has the backing of the Federation of Small Businesses and the Confederation of British Industry. Certification also helps you comply with GDPR.

The standard identifies the security controls that an organisation must have in place within their IT systems in order to have confidence that they are addressing cyber security effectively and mitigating the risk from Internet-based threats.

Certification allows your business/organisation to promote itself as cyber secure up to the Cyber Essentials standard level, which can make a real difference when bidding for contracts or involvement in supply chains.

Focusing on Boundary Firewalls and Internet Gateways, Secure Configuration, Access Control, Malware Protection & Patch Management, certification provides organisations with clear guidance on implementation as well as providing independent certification.

When certified, organisations can demonstrate to their customers that their data is adequately protected and that they take cyber security seriously.
